It’s all in the Cards

If you came to this site by way of my craft blog, you know that I will never shy away from a DIY project. Aside from photography, paper crafts are a serious addiction of mine. Lock me in a closet full of L lenses and rubber stamps and I’ll be happier than bird with a french fry.

Last week, I finished designing my logo and business cards. It was too late to get them printed in time for the workshop I attended, so I decided to make some myself. People always say that business cards should be memorable. But, homemade business cards? That’s quite possibly a disaster in the making. Armed with sheets of chipboard, a die cutting machine, my Gocco printer, and a whole lot of finger crossing, I whipped up these babies pictured below.

Although the cards aren’t professionally printed, I’m satisfied with the finished product. Each one is unique, understated, and created with a ton of personal attention. And that’s exactly what I want my photography to reflect.:)

The cards are beautiful! They’d be easy to pick out of a stack of other cards since they’re so thick!

These cards are fantastic!! I remember getting mine and was so astounded by the fact that you MADE them!! No one does that anymore, all you hear about is this printer or that printer, not that a photographer spent the time and created something OTHER than a photo. I love them!! They are definitely memorable and unique. Well done. :)
