Flashback Post: Jesse and Christina Got Married!

This is a very belated post, but I loved these images and had to share all of them.:)

Last October, my little brother Jesse (who is not so little anymore) got married to lovely Christina at the Bridges Golf Club in San Ramon, and I gained a sister! I was in the wedding party, so the camera only came out at the beginning of the day and at the reception.

We all had our makeup done by Jira and her team at Wow Pretty.

We made these lovely bouquets the night before the wedding.

We also made these pomander balls, but they didn’t make it to the ceremony.

I have a special affection for the details because we designed them together and put a lot of sweat and labor into them.

Most emotional father-daughter dance ever! I love the expression on Christina’s dad’s face. He definitely loves his baby girl.:)

Jesse and Christina played the infamous shoe game. It’s amazing how much they matched up in answers. They know each other inside and out!

San Luis Workshop Photos – Day 1

I just returned from a fabulous week in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico with Ms. Phoebe Joy. Boy, was it hard to leave the clear aqua ocean, warm sandy beaches, and deliciously fresh seafood. I ate an abundance of octopus tacos and cerviche. But I’m glad to be back and I’m finally posting some photos from the San Luis Obispo photography workshop I attended last month. Day one, we shot a themed engagement session, complete with croquet, tandem bikes, sports cars, and a truck load of oranges on the beach. Themed engagement sessions = pure brilliance. I wish I thought of a theme for my own engagement session!

Out of the Office

It’s 3:25am in SF… and I’m still packing for a morning flight to Cancun for a wedding shoot with the lovely Phoebe Joy. I’m completely exhausted, but so excited! Wish us good weather and good light.:)

Have a wonderful week!
